Samantha Lin Pool (Owner, Voice, Theatre)
Samantha is a Sheboygan native, and studied under Janet L. Herrick and Aya Ueda of Lakeland College, Karen Quicker of Sheboygan and Julia Faulkner of the UW Madison Opera Department. She has been teaching private voice lessons and theatre performance in the Sheboygan Area for 11 years. In addition to her vast array of performance experience, Samantha has had an opportunity to teach theatre to, and direct Sheboygan’s youth through the Sheboygan Area School District and AmeriCorps. Samantha is a major volunteer for her community, including work with the Sheboygan Noon Optimists Club, the Boy Scouts of America as a den leader for Pack 3827, the PTO at Wilson Elementary and Horace Mann Middle Schools and several local theatre companies. A loving mother of two, Samantha is constantly looking for new ventures to help the youth in the area. With an advanced education in vocal performance and technique, Samantha is looking forward to sharing her unique skills and using the gift of song and theatrical performance to enhance her students’ experiences.

Kathryn Slattengren (Piano, Musical Composition)
Kathryn recently graduated, Magna Cum Laude, from Wisconsin Lutheran College with a Bachelor of Arts, Music (emphasis on piano performance, music history, and theory/composition). Having received a piano scholarship, she enjoyed accompanying several vocalists, instrumentalists, and choirs. Her knowledge of music history creates a deeper understanding of the composer, time period, and appropriate technique, and her appearances as a performer and composer have given her a better insight into the art of music. Kathryn continues to seek further education to advance her skills and amplify her passion for the arts. Music has always been a big part of her life, and she looks forward to sharing the joy of making music with her students, especially through expression of the keys as well as the thrill of listening to one’s own composition performed.

Sarah Vincent (Piano, Brass/Woodwind Instrumental)
Sarah Vincent, Brass, Woodwind and Piano Instructor, is a 2010 graduate of the Lawrence University Conservatory of Music, majoring in Instrumental Music Education. Her primary instrument is the trombone and secondary instruments are the flute and piano. In college she played the trombone in many different settings, including the Lawrence University Wind Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, and the National Band Association Wisconsin Chapter All-State Honor Band. In her junior year Sarah played both trombone and flute on her half-recital.  Her piano experience extends from her love of playing the instrument. She learned to play at the age of 12 without formal lessons and continued to practice on her own until reaching college, when she had classes and lessons in piano. In college she worked as a solo and ensemble accompanist for high school students in Kimberly, WI, and as an accompanist for trombone players in the conservatory. She also periodically served as a pianist for Sigma Alpha Iota, an International Music Fraternity of which she is an alumna, and Lawrence Christian Fellowship. Sarah lives in her hometown of Sheboygan Falls. In Sheboygan County, Sarah has been a pianist and flutist at Fortress of Peace Bible Church in Sheboygan Falls as well as Bethel Baptist Church in Sheboygan. She has been a member of the Plymouth Municipal Band in Plymouth, WI in both trombone and flute, and assists periodically with the trombone students at Sheboygan Falls Middle School.
